This course will cover the standard AWLS curriculum, plus provide access to an amazing outdoor venue for your practical skills and scenarios. After class, escape to the wonderful recreation Van has to offer, including wildlife reserves, horse racing, museums, and more!

The AWLS curriculum consists of:
The AWLS Hybrid course is an exciting new format for us. Following completion of Online Modules to cover the didactic portion of the AWLS curriculum, students will meet in person for the practical skills component. Following an opportunity to review questions from the modules, we will dive into practical skills and wilderness victim scenarios. This means the two days in Van will be spent almost entirely outside doing hands-on practical skills.
With the Advanced Wilderness Life Support certification students earn 24.5 hours of Category 1 CME, as well as Wilderness Medical Society Fellowship credit.
